Note 1: The text is in Dutch and precedes the first publication in English in American Review issue 26.

Note 2: Published in a limited edition of 150 unnumbered copies to celebrate the 5^th anniversary of the publishers, De Harmonie.

Note 3: The only copy sighted (MW collection) is signed by McEwan and inscribed to Freek de Jonge, a Dutch comedian and writer.
