includes Cocker At The Theatre. Credited under the title to Ian McEwan and at the end to “Ian McKewen”. Printed single-sided on 54 unnumbered sheets of A4 paper with a green card cover at the back. This is a student “rag” magazine published while Ian McEwan was studying for a masters in literature at the University of East Anglia. This was McEwan’s first published work.
The MW collection has a presentation copy inscribed to the poet Anthony Thwaite who taught writing at the university at this time and was later editor of Encounter literary magazine.
