Front: ‘Violoncello: The King’ by Andrea Amati in black on a dun and bone background; at the upper left on a glaucous panel in black text ‘CELLISTS | (device) | Kazuo Ishiguro’.

Note 1: There were 600 copies printed of the Classic Edition and 150 copies of the Patron Edition, the latter being signed by Kazuo Ishiguro on the half-title. There were also 34 copies bound in half-cloth and 12 copies bound in half-leather.
