Includes 5 full page and 3 smaller watercolours by Eileen Hogan. Pages 238mm x 149mm. Upper and lower paper covered boards have a blue geometric design on a white background. The front cover has text in a white rectangle bordered by a thin and a thick line: ‘(in black) Kazuo Ishiguro | (in blue) Early Japanese Stories’. There are 3 versions of the binding (see below). ISBN none.

  1. 50 De Luxe copies bound with a black leather spine and with two prints (in pouch on back pastedown) in a black cloth slipcase. Numbered 1 to 50 and signed by Eileen Hogan and Kazuo Ishiguro.
  2. 150 Special copies bound with a black leather spine and with one print (in pouch on back pastedown). Numbered 51 to 200 and signed by Eileen Hogan and Kazuo Ishiguro.
  3. 50 Standard copies bound with a black cloth spine. Numbered 201 to 250 and signed by Eileen Hogan and Kazuo Ishiguro.

Note: One out of sequence (unnumbered) copy of the Special edition has been sighted (MW Collection). It is signed by Hogan and Ishiguro and includes one print.
